What We Do
Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN) helps children with special needs and medical conditions by providing therapies that increase each child's abilities so that he or she can live a more fulfilling and independent life. PTN serves children of all abilities, including those with an autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, developmental delays, orthopedic and neurological challenges, and sports-related injuries. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, PTN relies on the support of the community to sustain our year-round therapeutic programs and meet the growing need for our services.
What Makes PTN Unique
Sensory Integration
PTN’s foundation is rooted in the legendary work of Dr. A. Jean Ayres who developed, practiced, and tested a theory called sensory integration. PTN is recognized worldwide as leaders who use sensory integration approaches to help children reach their full potential.
Family Centered
PTN embraces a family-centered approach ensuring that the child’s family is actively involved in a constant stream of communication between parent and therapist. When parents and therapists work together, they both gain new insights that lead to a better understanding of the child and more effective intervention.
World Renowned
A world-renowned training and research center, PTN is committed to mentoring the next generation of therapists and healthcare professionals. PTN also reaches innumerable children and families through educational products, trainings, and contributions to research and evidence-based practice.
Multi-Disciplinary Team
PTN has a staff of over 200 employees including occupational, physical and speech therapists, early intervention teachers and social workers who collaborate to meet the growing needs of children.
